The American Trucking Associations recognized Nicholas Card, vice president of Combined Transport Inc., Central Point, Oregon, with the 2023 Dameo Award at the Chairman’s Membership Committee during the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition. Nick is also the current chair of OTA's Membership Committee and was elected to the Medford City Council in 2022.
Since 2014, the Dameo Award has been awarded to ATA state vice presidents who have gone above and beyond in advancing the goals of the trucking industry and ATA. Oregon is the only state to have two Dameo Award winners. In 2017, Andy Owens (A&M Transport Inc.) received the award.
